Samsung Securities Signs Strategic Partnership MOU with Seviora Holdings and Azalea Investment Management to Broaden Private Markets Access in the Republic of Korea
Samsung Securities today announced the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Seviora Holdings (“Seviora”), a Singapore-based asset management group wholly owned by Temasek Holdings, and its subsidiary, Azalea Investment Management (“Azalea”). The partnership will provide Korean investors with access to private markets starting with Azalea’s suite of investment offerings.
Under the MOU, the parties will collaborate to unlock a range of global private market solutions to the Korean market. By leveraging Seviora’s multi-asset platform and Azalea’s proven investment expertise across primaries, secondaries and co-investments, combined with Samsung Securities’ established private wealth platform with the biggest market share in Korea, the collaboration is well-positioned to deliver meaningful synergies for all three parties and differentiated value for Korean investors.
Gabriel Lim, CEO of Seviora, said: “This partnership not only strengthens our presence in Korea but also allows us to bring some of the most sought-after strategies in global private equity directly to Korean investors. Leveraging Temasek’s resources and network, we are committed to building a trusted, long-term partnership with Samsung securities.”
Chue En Yaw, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Azalea, added, “We are pleased to partner with Samsung Securities to strengthen our footprint in Korea, reinforcing our role as a trusted partner in private markets. The collaboration underscores our shared commitment to broadening access to private market opportunities through innovative, investor-centric solutions.”
